Curry leaves Thogayal- கறிவேப்பிலை துவையல்

U Need:

1.Thur dhal-4tsp

2.Curry leaves- 15

3.Red chilli -2

4.Hing - a pinch

5.Grated coconut-2 tsp

6.Tamarind - a bit

7.Salt


Method of Preparation:
1.Fry all the ingredients with a spoon oil , & Grind it to a fine paste with less water.

Maida Bonda- மைதா போண்டா


U Need:
1.Maida-1 cup
2.Sugar-1/4cup
3.Cardamom-4
4.Cooking soda- a pinch
5.Salt -a pinch
6.Oil
Method of Preparation:
1. Mix well all the ingredients except oil to form a dough like chappathi dough.
2. Make small pieces in bonda shape, Fry in oil till it turns crispy


Suliyam-சுழியம்


U Need:

1.Gram Dhal- 1cup

2.Powdered jaggery-1/2 cup

3.Cardamom-3

4.Grated Coconut-1/4cup

5.Maida -1cup

6.Salt

7.Oil to fry




Method of preparation:

1. Soak gram dhal in water for 30min, Grind to dry paste without adding water.

2. To the Grinded paste now add grated coconut, powdered elachi & jaggery then make out small balls.

3. Prepare a dough with maida adding salt and water.

4.Dip the balls in maida & fry in oil

Tomatoe Thokku-தக்காளி தொக்கு


U Need:

1.Tomatoes-5

2.Chilli pwd-3 tsp

3.Hing- 1/4tsp

4.Salt

5.Gingelly oil-5 tsp

Method of preparation:

1.Cut Tomatoes into pieces & mash it into liquid.

2.Heat 1tsp Gingelly oil in a frying pan, then add that tomatoe juice.

3.Add enough salt. & allow it fry in sim for 15min add oil whenever needed.

4. When it forms a paste add chilli powder, and hing

5.Cook till it gets thickened like a paste.

6.Add more oil at the end.

It is more like a pickle & can be used like a chutney with dosa & roti's
u can prepare more & store for a month.

Mini Bhajji- தூள் பஜ்ஜி


U Need:

1.Gram flour -1cup

2.Rice flour- 1/4cup

3.Big onion-1

4.Curry leaves

5.Cooking soda-a pinch

6.Chilli powder-1tsp

7. Orange color powder-a pinch

8. Salt & hing-1tsp

9.Garlic paste-1 tsp

Method of Preparation:

1. Mix all the ingredients except onion & curry leaves in a bowl.

2. Finely chop the onions & curry leaves then add it to mix.

3.Add litttle water to make it as paste.

4.Fry it in oil.

Cilantra thuvayal-மல்லி துவையல்

U Need

1.Cilantra -1/2 bunch

2.Red chillies-2

3.Urud dhal-2tsp

4.Coconut grated-3 tsp

5.Tamarind -a pinch

6.Salt.

Method of preparation

Fry all the ingredients seperately with one tsp oil till it turns brown & grind in mixie.

Tomato Dhal-தக்காளி பருப்பு


U NEED


1.Thur dhal -1 cup


2.Tomatoes -4


3.Garlic-2 cloves


4.Mustard


5.Ghee-1tsp


6.Chilli powder- 1tsp


7.Turmeric powder


8.Salt


9.Hing


10.Tamarind -small lemon size


Method of Preparation

1.Cook the thur dhal in cooker

2.Heat the pan with ghee,tamper mustard, add tomatoes & fry

3.Now add thur dhal stir & add turmeric powder & salt.

4.When the tomatoes are cooked, add chilli powder & garlic paste.

5.Cook for 5min & add tamarind extract.

6.Finally add hing.
